Thankful for: All Things Bright & Beautiful

November 3, 2016 by Ellen 4 Comments

This month, I’ll be sharing picture memories from the past year. Enjoy!

A view from the sunroof, as we were driving through the Smokey Mountains. A beautiful reminder to always look up!

A beautiful moss draped oak tree that I see driving to work each day. It’s such a lovely reminder for me that our Creator God brings beauty into our lives, we just need to remember to pause and see it.

Just pure beauty right here!

Praying that you pause this month, with a thankful heart, to see the bright and beautiful things God has created.

All things bright and beautiful, the Lord God made them all!*

Grace be with you,

*All Things Bright and Beautiful is an Anglican hymn, also popular with other Christian denominations. The words are by Cecil Frances Alexander and were first published in her Hymns for Little Children. (Wikipedia)

Amen, Ellen! He’s made them all. So beautiful. I want to reconnect with the wonder of His creation this month. 🙂 And give Him thanks.

Welcome!

Torrential rains had been pelting us for weeks. With the rains came weeds growing tall in the flower beds. But I noticed other new growth, too. It wasn’t colorful flowers.
